On Saturday 19th October 2019, Intra Pacific Trading Company Ltd (INTRACO) held its annual “Suzuki Clean-up the World” campaign at Emua Village, a small village located on the northern point of the capital island. INTRACO carried out the clean-up campaign with its employees from Sales, Marketing, Administration and After-Sales, and also gained the help of the youths from Emua Village.
The campaign was a huge success with over 100 participants involved and around 150 bags of rubbish collected along the sea front of Emua. Several families with small boats also helped to remove rubbish from difficult to reach ocean areas which significantly contributed to the overall rubbish and waste collected.
At the conclusion of the clean-up, INTRACO reinstated the importance of keeping the ocean and its surroundings clean, with some tips and information on waste management from INTRACO Marketing Manager, Ezra Dick. INTRACO believes with the work done on that day will help motivate the future generations to keep our beaches clean and it once again extends its gratitude to the community of Emua and all the staff who took part in this event.
